Working alongside the Client’s interior architecture and development teams, our design process began with a close study of the project’s material palette and spatial logic. Natural oak flooring, marble, and soft stone surfaces informed the selection of Italian crafted lacquered cabinetry finishes, while a consistent tonal hierarchy ensured visual continuity between living and kitchen spaces.
The design language is quiet and deliberate. Cabinetry is expressed as refined architectural elements in the form of continuous planes to maintain a sense of calm proportion. Each layout was individually tailored to the residence type and orientation, ensuring that functionality and flow were aligned with the spatial experience of the apartment.

A comprehensive coordination process ensured that every kitchen operated seamlessly within the building’s architectural and engineering framework. Working collaboratively with the development and interior architecture teams, the CIE team managed every stage of the process, from early design development and technical coordination through to installation, quality control, and final handover.

CIE London’s in-house project management team oversaw the entire delivery process, from factory production through to site installation and final commissioning. This included the provision of detailed M&E interface drawings and installation sequencing which ensured the successful integration of site structural, mechanical, and electrical systems with our joinery tolerances, all measured to the millimetre. CIE’s onsite teams, all SSIP/SMAS accredited, managed quality control and client liaison to ensure a seamless handover.
