NEO Bankside, Southbank SE1

Situated in the heart of Bankside on the South Bank of the River Thames, NEO Bankside strikes a distinctive geometric poise alongside the Tate Modern. Comprised of 4 pavilions, the contemporary cladding and structural bracing pays homage to the area's rich industrial heritage with its distinguishing oxide red and steel structure. This unique system negates the need for internal structural walls, which allows the creation of incredibly flexible interior spaces including Winter Gardens that extend from the living space, providing residents with spectacular views of the London skyline.

The fundamental principle of minimalism is the delicate balance of what is necessary and what is not. This is also the essence of bulthaup where the geometric use of form and carefully thought-out functions are inextricably linked to create a sense of equilibrium. Proper proportions and carefully considered material thicknesses create a kitchen that is pleasantly tactile and visually striking.
